Amira's Research Featured on the Front Page of the Boston Globe

Today, a landmark Williams Institute peer-reviewed study that Amira co-authored with Jody Herman and Andrew Flores was featured on the front page of the Boston Globe. The study found that nondiscrimination laws in Massachusetts that allow transgender people to use public restrooms in accordance with their gender identity do not impact safety or privacy in such spaces. This study has come as an answer to longstanding anti-transgender fear-mongering and will hopefully inform voters who will be deciding whether to repeal a statewide nondiscrimination law on the ballot this November.
